What happens when I start a free trial?

You get a fully-functional account during your free trial, which gives you access to everything Rentalfy has to offer. If (and only if!) you love it, your card will be charged a monthly fee at the end of the trial period. We'll even E-Mail before your trial ends to remind you. Identity verification is required prior to collecting rent payments, running credit, background, and eviction screenings, and syndicating property listings.

What's the setup process like?

We've made the setup workflow as painless as possible. It's a simple three-step process: activate your account, set up your bank account to deposit rent payments, and add your properties, tenants, and leases. That's it!

Can I change my plan?

Yes, any time! In fact, since our plans are based on your number of properties, you can upgrade or downgrade to the most cost-effective plan that meets your needs.

What are the fees for collecting rent payments and running background/credit checks?

There are no fees for the Property Manager/Landlord. We offer funding as fast as 3 business days after the date a payment is made to deposit ACH (e-check) and credit card payments into your bank account, excluding holidays. Approval of your business is required before online payments can be accepted. Tenants are charged a 0.25% convenience fee for ACH (E-check) payments or a 3.5% convenience fee for credit card payments. The fee is added to the total payment amount when a payment is made by the tenant. Background and credit checks are $35 per application and are paid for by the applicant at the time the application is submitted.

Can I collect payments into more than 1 bank account?

Yes, and you can link as many bank accounts as you would like to your account. Your first linked bank account is included, and additional bank accounts can be added for $5 additional per month for each account.

Can I invoice and make payments to owners from my bank account?

We don't yet offer a way to invoice and pay owners from your linked bank account(s). This is a feature we are working on as a future enhancement.

How long does it take for online payments to be deposited into my bank account?

E-Check (ACH) and credit card payments take about 3 business days after the date a payment is made to be deposited into your account, not including banking holidays. For new customers, it may take up to 5 business days after the date the payment is made, not including banking holidays, to be deposited into your account until you build up a history with us. For Enterprise Plan customers, please contact us to inquire about 2 business day funding.

What support do you offer if I run into problems?

E-Mail support is available 7 days a week. Phone support is available Monday through Friday by appointment.

Can you help get my business set up fast?

We offer coaching where a Rentalfy Property Coach will walk you through setting up your account and properties. There is a $75 charge for each hour of coaching, and it will be conducted through an on-line meeting. Save time and let us do your data entry and property setup for $75 per hour.
